Not much to report in the world of the Fruityloops Orchestra other than I'm off to Berlin in September for my year abroad in my uni degree where I'll be teaching English as a language assistant.

Time will tell if something musical takes off in there, but if it does then this will probably say at some point.

It's that time of year again, the weather starts showing some semblance getting warmer. Or it doesn't. This winter has dragged on and on far too long. I remember last years March anti-war demo was so warm I got a mild suntan, whilst on this years one I almost got frostbite.

My mum wasn't too impressed either. "Onde foi o verão?" she asked me, and I got the idea for another dreary depressing song.


Also in the news of the Fruityloops Orchestra, we are officially endorsing a candidate in the council elections in the Bevois ward of Southampton. Nick Chaffey of the Socialist Party is the only candidate standing to save St. Mary's Leisure Centre, to oppose all cuts to public services, oppose privatisation of these services and highlight the exploitation of the influx of immigrant workers of often half the minimum-wage and the effect this has on driving down everyone's wages.

So remember the slogan

Blue Labour, Tories and Lib Dems are all gadgie
Save St. Mary's, vote Nick Chaffey

It's been a while again since I've put much up on here.
Over the christmas holidays I did a cover of Madredeus' Moro em Lisboa and new song of my own Uma terra sem amos as my poncy "Wooo! Look at me! I know a few words of Portuguese!" phase spawns yet more sonic gash for your ear drums.

Wooo... it's been a while since I've shown my mug round these parts.

Not much in the world of Will's Fruityloops Orchestra to report. Just an offer of a gig to support the fantastic Pirate Ship Quintet that sadly I had to turn down as me just pressing play on a computer with my stuff on fruityloops would have been taking the piss somewhat. And the files on which they are have become corrupt or something, so I couldn't do that hideous desecration of the tenets of live music performing anyway. Anyone down on the South Coast of England (especially you lucky people in Dorset) be sure to check them out if the chance comes about. If you love Godspeed you Black Emperor then I'm sure you'll appreciate their tunage.

My summer's been littered with odd adventures here and there. To kick things off I went off to Scotland for the anti-G8 protests in Edinburgh, Faslane and Gleneagles, trips back home and then off to Gent in Belgium and a couple of days down at Durdle Door in Dorset.
Currently I'm back at home and in this last stint back in Wycombe I did some random bit of fruitylooping, the result is An ode to Charlie, the Omniscient Teddy Bear of Hellbottom Wood.

I'm back for Christmas from Southampton Uni and I may get something done if there's anything coming.

Just want to wish all of you Dmusicites a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Hello to y'all again

I know it's been a while, but being idle all summer does little for your creative juices, hence sod all has been done of late.
I have a little fruityloops tune to finish of soon, though that appears to be all for the time being.

When I go off to uni next month it's likely that things will be even more quiet.

Hopefully I can somethings done by then, a few covers most likely, though that might involve me singing. Never a pretty sight.

Anyways, everyone take care and keeping dmusicing.

Heya everyone.

Just been taking (another) break from DMusic for a while. My mind is currently full of musical clutter and I can't work in such conditions. I've lost my Fruitylooping touch though if I can somehow pull it off I may have some piano improvising on here soon, but it's likely to be of crap recording quality as I have only discarded headphones to use as microphone.

Anyways, in other Will news, after getting Bs in German and French, C in Psychology and a D at Photography I am off to Southampton uni to do my Modern Language Studies degree in October! *jigs a jig of joy*

Hope everyone else getting their A level results have got what they wanted/needed and have a good rest of the summer regardless.

Praise the dmusic godhead whose capricious hand featured my fruityloops orchestra. I'm not one for idle worship, but I am but your willing slave oh glorious dmusic übergod!

The writing alter ego squatting in my head has been evicted and the calpol addict fruitylooping maniac is back. Musician's Block bout is over at last.

In this summer of lazing, scrounging, debt mountain piling, job application rejection, alter egos, fruitylooping, drinking benders, a crippling sobriety habit through lack of money and the rest this is the undoubted highlight.

Next up on the much vaunted Will's Fruityloops Orchestra hit parade is Between Hell and Purgatory. It was intended to be a sort of a church organ related randomness track in between Feel good dirge of the summer and Torture.

Thanks for all the comments and nice words from everyone so far. All much appreciated. And if I meet you in The Falcon in Wycombe mine's a pint.

Ooh... what a lovely summer it is. The best summer storms since records began (apparantly.. seems a bit tame from here) and as I speak I'm being treated to a wonderful light show from those lovely black clouds.
The record 37ºC day of a year ago has but melted away into the unbearble heat of time.

To comemorate the occaision my latest chronic depression inducing number 'Feel good dirge of the summer' has popped out of the woodwork for your enjoyment or otherwise.

Also, any deviantartists around, particularly photographers, might want to pop by at http://exhumed.deviantart.com to say hi and have a cup of tea. You're all welcome :D (Big Grin)
